Ant-ego-nest

Yesterday I was reading a 'Second Thought' column in 'Times Of India'. And remembered my earlier post 'Global Warming'.

Author said, 'Global Warming is not a threat to Earth'. Its ONLY a threat to 'Humans'.

We fools think that 'threat to us' is same as 'threat to earth'! Its similar to 'ants shouting THREAT TO EARTH, when we start spraying DDT'.

7121 years ago...

It was 5114 BC...

A very simple math if you know the exact present year and negative operator and some ABCD! I still feel strange how people know the present year, month, day, hour, minute... without being in present?!

So, what is so strange about 5114 BC?? Obviously its not my birth year, at least of this incarnation. But some of the research says its the birth year of so many people, including our Ramayana hero 'Lord Rama'.

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/273107.cms

So, what? I am not questioning the existence of Rama, as I have my own questions about the reality of my own existence! I am just trying to find this event in the Yuga scale out of curiosity.

According to Yukteswar, at present we are in Dwapara Yuga, Year 307. Current Dwapara Yuga started in 1700AD, after finishing the ascending Kali Yuga from 500AD. Before that we had descending Kali Yuga between 700BC and 500AD during which world witnessed the life of Jesus.

If we go back further by 2400 years of Dwapara Yuga, we get the previous Treta Yuga between 6700BC and 3100BC. Since Ramayana happens in Treta Yuga, 5114BC as Rama's birth year looks a valid year from Yukteswar's version of Yuga maths. And my curiosity about checking the relative correctness between these two ends here!

Did you ever check what AD/BC stands for? or still remember?
BC: Before Christ
AD: Anno Domini

At present Kannada Wikipedia is at position 96 in the total number of articles in Wikipedia across all languages, with a total of 4765. Can we make it jump up by 95 positions?!

Cave, Flat, Site and ...

If you can try hard to recall your earlier existences, you will know that we had fought hard during early part of Kali Yuga to get and own a cave for our living. Though the time has changed now, we are still fighting to get a plot/flat/land.

But in the meantime, the world has evolved into one more dimension called 'electronic' and the fight is on to get a site/space there as well. If you are planning to get one, try:

http://www.bluehost.com
Space: 300GB ($7 per month)
Each domain name ($10 per year)
[Note: They won't support .in domains]

Its so strange that while lands price increases, sites price decreases! And it won't be too far when we start hunting for space in the 'energy' dimension of this universe...

NO-PARKING

NO-PARKING
<-- 100 feet

Did you ever drive?
Did you ever tried parking in a public road?
Did you ever noticed the 'No Parking' board?
Did you ever thought about respecting the no-parking zone?
Did you ever understood what is written on the no-parking board?
Did you ever tried to measure the zone boundaries?

NO-PARKING
<--> 300 feet

Sometimes I pray to God to send some Angels for me to measure the no-parking zone boundaries with a measuring tape and mark them for me.

Some other times I pray to God to send some painter to show his art.

All times I pray the police commissioner to upgrade the parking signals.

But I don't know how. We Indians are very clever by birth adjusting to any chaos with a super fast auto learning neural system. And most of the times it is not to improve the system but to 'self-escape' from the chaos system. And the system goes on working!

Chaotic traffic jam can only happen in India,... can only be handled by Indians, and will always be solved automatically by Indians. You just need extra patience, if you happen to be in the midst of it!

Raja Yoga

We 'live' in a 'virtual' world created by our mind's restricted perceptions through its limited knowledge and reasoning. If our senses witness something which is outside the scope of our reasoning, we term it as 'miracle' and start beating up the 'enhanced soul' who produced those miracles!

Another approach is to enhance our knowledge to become that 'enhanced soul'.

" Creation is full of secrets for all living minds, with many laws beyond our mind's perception "

One such secret is Raja Yoga.

Patanjali talked about it through his Yoga Sutras...
Vyasa talked about it in subtle way in his Mahabharata...
Modern Yoga gurus talk a lot about one of its step Praanayaama...

People follow...

  • OOPs for better coding in software development
  • Signal lights for better traffic management
  • queues (sometimes) for better crowd management
  • everything for more money making

But few follow 'guidelines' in their so called 'life' to act the part of 'living'.

Some simple steps (known by many in bits and pieces in various contexts) are:
  1. Practice non-violence, truthfulness, not-stealing, brahmacharya/celibacy (may be in patches!), no-greed. In effect try to become a 'good human being'.
  2. Practice 'Practice'. Improve your life with discipline through good habits through practice, enhancing your mind-control. Read more. Improve knowledge about world, creation, senses, mind, body, emotions, nature. Do introspections.
  3. Watch yourself how you sit, stand, walk and run! Sitting straight is not to avoid neck/back problems for software engineers, but is the starting step for your spiritual evolution.
  4. Observe and watch your mind's daily life. Try controlling and guiding it through the breath. Remember that you indeed breath on an average of 14 times per minute!
  5. Develop the will power and start to detach the mind from sense objects and draw it inside.
  6. Most of us concentrate on various things, many things, at the same time wasting our energy, calmness and existence. Try to improve the concentration to a single point and start directing it to the proper point depending on your realization level.
  7. Do nothing... and practice it through meditation.
  8. Your ego will die one day in Samadhi if in case you are still alive!

These are just the 'dummy guidelines'. But to know more about the true guidelines, try...

Genius Guddi

Gali Bili Guddi's Personal Dairy,
Class II,
International Public School,
State Capital,
Democratic Country.

Exam's previous day

Working hard with my parents preparing for tomorrow's exam. Haven't found the stable answer for tomorrow's toughest question :(

Exam's day

Usual traffic jam. CM resigns. President rule. Shocked to see the toughest question :( Not sure whether there is a stable answer to this or any answer to this!

Exam's next day

Madam will be correcting the papers today. President's rule has been removed. Not sure what the answer is to that toughest question. Praying god to confuse our Madam as well!

Toughest question

Who is our current Chief Minister?

Introspection

If a question is related to time, shouldn't they also specify the time for the question? Its very dumb like the one that I read the other day.

Dumb question

Are we happy in life?

Personal Note

What is the time associated with the question 'Are we happy in life?'. If it is anything in future or past, then question will become invalid. If the time is NOW, then in that smallest possible moment, our mind should be void from all thoughts and the answer should be YES.

Are we happy in life?

I am :-)

Net in 4100AD

" Net down at home "

Tragic End

Pinged ISP guys non stop. Nothing solved. Visited the customer care. Nothing solved. Shot the CC manager. Nothing solved. Joined Sanju baaba. Rest in 'peace'.

Re-written and Re-shot

Redistributed the net-time to other activities. Improved the patience. Practiced forgiveness. Thought about the alternatives...

Change the ISP...
Change the location...
Change the behaviour...
Change the time...

Preparing myself for the time travel to 4100AD so that I can use the energy level for communication.

AsKing Queen

" r u asking people to follow the path of spirituality? "

That was the mail message I got from my friend today at 11:04 AM... indirectly referring to http://www.kuyyokuotes.com. And my day continued as usual...

Had a good patience-exercise with late evening cool showers, still-traffic and looong peaceful journey back home.
Dravid scored a double century...
GK Vale has moved from MG Road to Church street...
Citibank was overcrowded as usual...

Happenings in reverse order.... though not sure about the crowd, whether they were customers or loan recovery gentlemen.

Am I writing this with an expectation that you will come here in future and read it? NO.

I am just enjoying writing these words and hence I am writing them. My attachment ends there. Indirectly I am just playing my role in creating this content according to the cosmic law. And my role ends there. Am I asking you to read it? NO. Your visit and reading the content is entirely driven by the cosmic law which I don't control. I am just happy writing this content.

And it goes on... till there is passion in me and divine intervention from him...

Oh... I think I forgot to listen.... I was in deep meditation during that rain and forgot to listen to her...

Did she ask us to dance with her today and get wet?

session_start(): cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent, warning in the same php file

<?php
session_start();

If your php server cribs that the error is in line 1 (<?php) and you have tried every debugging technique to solve the mystery without success... then the last tip could be:

Recreate this file in a basic text editor like notepad as 'ASCII' file and upload it. If it still doesn't solve your problem then you need to dial God!

External javascript comment problem in firefox

If you are including more than one external javascript files in your html files through <script ...> tags and find some funny behavior in Firefox where none of the function calls are invoked, then please make sure that you don't have multi-line comments /* */ at global scope outside all functions. Make them single line comments with //.

Commit-bit-bit-bit-bitment

5 months and 24 days back...

May 10, 2007... ... I write this blog post.

20 days earlier...

Apr 20, 2007... ... I start this site.

6 months and 13 days later...

Nov 03, 2007... ... I still write daily here.

My friend asked me why I write these daily Kuyyo Kuotes. My reply is in its FAQ section. Bhagavad Gita says 'Egotistic activity is better than Non-activity'. And 'Working without any expectations on outcomes is the best'. Its like you working as a (love)bonded labor for God!

Today most of us badly need 'commitment', 'discipline' and 'passion' in our life. Start with small commitments, small discipline and small passions...

From today, I am attempting another commitment/discipline/passion... to update my blog more often (read it as 'daily'... though its definition is changeable!)

Somethings in life does not make sense... like my writings, your existence and elephant's sex act...

till we raise our consciousness to the comprehending level...
